I really had a thought that as part of being more user friendly, I would make it a habit to put the "search widgit" in my blog for this reason- I want my reader to experience an easier way to find a specific entry than having to browse through multiple entries, going up and down and that's quite a hassle. So I really suggest that bloggers out there aside from trying the new blogger designs, they should really put the "search bix widgit" into their layout. It's quite my simple advice for now, hoping that their sites become easier to navigate. For example if you're looking for "Emma Roberts" in this blog and you want a specific entry on her than just having to browse through all those pages, you just need to type "Emma Roberts" into the search box with the label above "Search this Blog" then be ready to select what article you want. Kinda more convenient than clicking through labels and having a more tiresome way of browsing.
