Don't Kill the Geese That Lay the Legitimate Golden Eggs!

It just pissed me off to think how many businesses that end up LAYING OFF their best assets.  Pissed me off to go to a restaurant that got rid of their specialties, deteriorated the taste- what on Earth is the MANAGEMENT THINKING?!  It's poor service if you ask me.  Thinking about it, it's really downright stupid for a restaurant who has its good tasting food as its edge to suddenly have bad taste because people come there to EAT the good food.  The good food is the very goose that lays the golden eggs so why deteriorate it?  It's plain simply idiotic that such service to its customers that is in the area of the food they serve, makes it lay rotten eggs instead of golden eggs.  However such a fact is too real in real life, like your favorite companies that you loved because they serve you good quality is suddenly taken over by poor management.  This is where poor management kicks in and must be kicked out.  I'll provide more examples for such a case.

One good example of golden goose killing is Capcom's newer higher ups just are ungrateful towards the Megaman franchise, the VERY company that made them popular throughout the years.  Even if they don't want to release a new Megaman game yearly, they should still pay their respects for the blue bomber who didn't only entertain 90s children like me but also even a new generation of children that had replaced my generation- even if adults may forget about him but he can still entertain the children of today.  Sadly, the Megaman franchise isn't the only victim- Resident Evil suffered from a series of bad games that in fact, the predecessors were praised for excellent gameplay but poor management also killed the series for the adult market that loves the games.  Capcom's latest actions should be put into consideration and ask themselves, "Are we killing the geese that killed the golden eggs?" because sooner or later, they'll go bankrupt if they keep getting rid of what still can work and for one, until Megaman is a dead fad, don't kill the character.  Let the golden geese die on their own but try to preserve its life as much as possible.  Namco didn't kill Pacman the very character that gave them their name nor did they kill Tekken the very fighting game that gave them more money coming in.

A business of good reputation must always keep up with its reputation.  But the problem can be is that the successors may actually deviate from the practices of their predecessors like good kings having bad successors.  It's very important to make the successors trained in the ways of business not as princes but to let them experience their work like every other person who works for the company as part of their training for success.  By learning to obey the managers and supervisors, these heirs learn to become better heirs than those who just sit with little or no experience of the company in itself.  But a good company is NEVER without flaws.  In fact, sincere apologies must be done to offended customers because as said, there's no perfect service aside from replacing the damaged goods ASAP with no charge.

Toei's money making decision with Shinichiro Shirakura is actually a feasible choice as much as their contracts with Saban Brands in creating Power Rangers by allowing the legitimate use of Super Sentai footage due to payment of royalties from them.  I'll say that I didn't like Super Hero Taisen because it felt too "kiddie" but looking at the generation of children who watch the shows and buy the toys, certainly gimmicks must be done in order to generate profit although I'm not encouraging dishonest means.  While I disliked Goseiger for its too much mecha but children do love that kind of stuff.  If it wasn't for Power Rangers and their contractual dealing with Saban and Toei (well I'm glad that Power Rangers credits Toei licensing and also the shows that the adaptations were based from!), I doubt it Toei would suck in dollars from the United States of America and even expand its market worldwide!  Okay I understand that Super Sentai is overshadowed due to American influence but to think about it, in the cultural world, adaptation is necessary because America and Japan are too different.  For Saban though, he really better think that his current market is a new generation, he can't afford to keep launching back to the 90s if he wants his legal agreements with Toei to create Power Rangers to be put to good use, otherwise they're probably going to revoke it due to his careless handling- he should seriously ASK help from Shirakura.  Pretty much by keeping the kiddie shows kiddie (I mean I watch Tokusatsu until now but I. DO. NOT. BUY. TOKUSATSU TOYS!  I only watch Tokusatsu for the hot chicks, guilty confession!) and catering to fresh markets every time, Toei keeps itself financially strong and healthy.  Saban pays a lot of royalties to Toei though he should be careful with how he adapts other shows because some of them just are major disasters or two, if he's getting too old, somebody should take over him!
