For Tekken 6, I am pretty mixed on it. While it does maintain its fun factor in VS. Mode and whatever, I have to consider the pain that is Scenario Campaign. So what it is about? Scenario Campaign follows the adventures of Lars Alexanderson and Alisa (that robot) who are trying to put an end to the curse of the Mishima. It's pretty much a dark story where Jin goes berserk and punishes the world. So what do I think? While it's a fun take of on various enemies, etc. but one thing is certain... this mode can get FREAKING ANNOYING!!! In my opinion, you really need to fight through, unlock the characters for Arena Mode just to see the freaking endings. Really, while it's a fun game for parties but that Scenario Campaign is a pain due to boss fights being surrounded by GOONS?! Really... made me think that I really might as well play some Arena Mode while being patient in unlocking the other characters. I really find the whole Scenario Campaign for me annoying. To be honest, I wish it were just there as a sidequest not as a means to unlock the cinematic endings. =( Also, for me Scenario Campaign could have worked better if it followed MK Armageddon's style.
Meanwhile for Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, I've managed to finish Arcade Ladder with ALL characters but I went through beginner mode first. Well I'll elevate to Medium then and try to win the whole thing with everybody again. For me, this game is really bursting rich with content, secrets, etc. and well it really carries on true to the Mature rating, not having to undergo a silly sidequest just to see the endings. I'm currently trying to finish Story Mode where I'm currently in Nightwolf's chapter. Well I'm probably going to try and get the Grappler achievement, maybe I'll try to get to fight both MK1 Reptile and MK2 Jade which will take a bigger challenge than usual. I mean getting a flawless victory, waiting for the shadow, etc. or trying to get a flawless victory on Shang Tsung are quite difficult. =P
