Here's one Japanese song that I fell in love with, didn't understand a single word except for "Saigo No Iiwake" which means last excuse. Here's the English translation that I found at Kiwi Musume and man -- it's really a very sad song, isn't it?

Then I thought about the Filipino versions which are done such as Kempee De Leon's version (which was sung in Filipino-English), Ted Ito's version and Jocelyn Enriquez's Kailanman (Whenever) or her English cover known as Come Back Home are also very good versions. But let's honor the original Japanese that spawned several beautiful covers!
