Satirical News: Nihonjin No Heishi Gains High First Episode Ratings In Japanese Friday Primetime

Toei's spin-off Failed Hero series has been going on since B.S. Man last 2015. While Squatterman didn't get as much attention as other Failed Heroes -- Nihonjin No Heishi managed to get a good first day ratings. The first Reiwa era Failed Hero series had managed to beat Ryusoulger and Kamen Rider Zi-O in terms of ratings.

The actor Takaya "Metal" Yoshida had expressed his thanks for the viewers. He said, "I am thankful for all those who are supporting the comedy mini-series Nihonjin No Heishi. I was happy that both me and my wife and our daughters can participate as a family in Toei's latest comedy series."

The press conference of Nihonjin No Heishi in in mid-April 2019 had the cast of Ryusoulger, Kamen Rider Zi-O, Lupinranger vs. Patranger and Kyuranger show up. The cast members then gave their reviews on social media. Kousei Yuuki openly expressed the comedy of Nihonjin No Heishi as a brilliant comedy series that makes you shun false heroism.

The show also introduces the concept that was supposedly found only in Power Rangers called the Morphin' Grid. In this continuity, there's the Henshin Grid which gives the powers to Super Sentai, Kamen Riders and Metal Heroes. However, the very actions of magician Rokoku Matsushita caused the grid's power to collapse when Gouki Arukano the main "hero" became Nihonjin No Heishi. Now Toku heroes must expose this fake hero while trying to recover Asia from the control of the Chinese Empire.
