Satirical News: Leah Navarro Banned From Entering HRAP-Accredited Hotels And Restaurants Under New Executive Order

Leah Navarro's controversial Tweet has now raised eyebrows. The Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP) was aware of the tweets. So far, no reaction was made by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was made about President Rodrigo R. Duterte's departure. However, HRAP's current incumbent president Eugene Yap sought the help of President Duterte to release a new executive order.

It was noted that HRAP once declared a ban for Alan Impurisima from entering restaurants to prevent confusion. Now, the current administration of HRAP requested the good office of the Macalanang to ban Navarro from entering hotels and restaurants for her tweet.

"I can't believe how Leah Navarro has been so rude with what she said. I don't find anything shameful for anybody of power to be seen off by kitchen staff. If it wasn't for kitchen staff then who would be providing cooking in hotels and restaurants. That's why we requested from President Duterte the signing of a new ordinance to ban her from entering hotels and restaurants that is a member of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines." said HRAP President Yap in an interview.

The executive order was currently signed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte. So far, no sign of Vice President Leni Loud Robredo reacting to said executive order was observed. Vice President Robredo seems to be pretty silent for now. The executive order has posted the said notice on the restaurants that are members of the HRAP as placed under request.

President Duterte spoke of the issue and said, "What's really wrong if a president or head of the country gets a send off by kitchen staff in a hotel? If you go to Malaysia, it happens. Noynoy Aquino also was seen off by kitchen staff and he mingles with them. I put this executive order under the request of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines. Leah Navarro is such a disrespectful woman. If she wants to eat well she's not banned from eating at carenderias and pungko-pungko which are not part of HRAP. I signed the executive order to protect restaurants from people like her. The kitchen staff feed you people and you should respect them. If they didn't exist then how will you eat and you don't have time to cook or you want to get a lunch break? She has no respect for them whatsoever even if she said with due respect to them in her Tweet. If she wants her ban to be removed then she should issue a public, formal, sincere apology to all kitchen staff and I will consider removing the executive order. This is only temporary assuming she apologizes for what she said."

The news was led with much rejoicing by HRAP-accredited restaurants. Kitchen staff from HRAP-accredited restaurants were seen doing the Duterte fist sign and burning Navarro's posters and CDs in celebration of the executive order.

Stay tuned for further developments!
