Satirical News: Toady Casino Hammered By K-Pop Filipino Fans For His Comments Regarding 'Crash Landing On You'

Toady Casino was said to have grown mad after he saw that the Korean TV series Crash Landing on You had become the number one spot on Netflix Philippines. He had expressed how Filipinos have lost their interest in "Sariling Atin Only" by watching which premiered on December 14, 2019 and ended on February 16, 2020. The ratings of local teleseryes have severely dipped as many Filipinos were caught watching Crash Landing on You instead of shows like Ang Probinsyano (The Provinciano) and other locally-made teleseryes.

Casino now laments as he expresses his views regarding the TV series Crash Landing on You. He said the following in an interview with Karen Devila:

This is obvious black propaganda. The show 'Crash Landing on You' is trying to tell Filipinos that it was protectionism that made  North Korea poor and economic liberalization that made South Korea rich. That's a ridiculous joke. I know the show ended weeks ago but the fire is still there. More Filipinos are watching it on their free time. What happened to nationalism? They should be watching teleseryes to protect our local film industry.

Let me tell you the ridiculous nature of 'Crash Landing on You'. North Korea is poor because they accept foreign investments. North Koreans are jobless because only foreign investors get rich. Small enterprises, workers, and farmers are destroyed by that in North Korea. The only other person who got rich from the influx of foreign investors in North Korea is Kim Jung Un. Meanwhile, South Korea which is protectionist has allowed it to grow. If Samsung had to compete with other imported smartphones - it would have never become a global brand!

However, Casino was attacked on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. He was assaulted by one million K-Pop Filipino fans in less than an hour. He went on a blocking spree on social media. He was last seen admitted to the Patrick Star Hospital for check-up.
