Shaina Magdayao's one-shot guest role in the international film (collaboration with ABiaS-CBN) has her as journalist Maria Manalo. I remembered the time I compared her to Poison Ivy. However, a Questor article revealed that Shaina herself was a fan of Hello Kitty and had a room full of cat stuff. Not to mention, her appearance seems to mirror some later artworks of Selina Kyle/Catwoman with black hair. Catwoman did have blonde hair portrayals (which I preferred) though the black-haired Catwoman seems to be more popular. Shaina's look seems to mirror Selina out-of-suit just like this...
I may not be into comics anymore due to how they tend to be inconsistent. I'm not even a fan of all the SJW retcons and the sudden change after many years of the same story. Heck, I'm not even happy with the parentage change of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch after they were established as Magneto's children. The parentage change can work in OTHER versions but not the main comics. This picture of Catwoman seems to resemble either Jin a Nana or Shaina herself. This artwork and the way Shaina got dressed in Almost Paradise.
Shaina would've made a good Poison Ivy but her catlike posture betrays the floral dress. More of her photos would make her better as Catwoman than Poison Ivy.
Her resemblance to Jin A Nana further makes her well... a CATWOMAN. I guess Shaina still keeps a lot of cat stuff at home huh?
