Adaptations Are NOT BOOTLEGS!!!

I do remember these words by Chris X to which was well posted on that hate fic "Gokaiger vs. Samurai" written by Arnold McGuire 335 to which here's an excerpt of that rather meaningful review:
I am not a Power Rangers fan, but I really can respect the series on its own. Just because one was an 'adaptation' doesn't mean it's fake.

So here's what bootleg means when it comes to making fakes:
  • An unauthorized video or recording
  • To produce, reproduce, or distribute illicitly or without authorization

So yeah, I really would admit I side with neither that awful fan fic "Gokaiger vs. Samurai" vs. those who insist that Super Sentai is fake and Power Rangers is the "real deal" and vice versa.  So here's a little bit of reality that we need to realize- Power Rangers or any kind of adaptation can't be considered a bootleg because the mother company allows it to be reproduced for an American audience.  That means those American adaptations are not fake- they were adapted for certain reasons.  That is Toei allowed Saban and later Disney to buy rights to use their footage from their shows as well as use some of their costumes to produce the "clone series" therefore dropping the charges of being fake.  As said, always blame the stupid TV stations as well as the Power Rangers severity groups for discrediting the original.
