After President Nobita was suspended for his rather tactless statement on the cancellation of Mortal Kombat X for the last generation systems (PS3/XBox 360), Netherrealm Studios has announced yet another development for Mortal Kombat XL which will be exclusive to the Philippines. In an interview, Ed Boon of Mortal Kombat fame mentioned, "President Nobita deserved to be suspended from Playstation Network. I was not happy with the inability to downgrade Mortal Kombat X. By now, I guess last generation console gamers may have saved up so we have presented Mortal Kombat XL but we're carrying out Philippine Edition. I hope this game will teach the president to behave himself on Playstation Network."
The available bonus characters that were revealed were Goro, Jason Vorhees, Predator, Tanya, Leatherface, Alien and Bo Rai Cho. The Philippine Edition has modified the previous "kombat pack". This time, it doesn't require any download at all. Boon states, "Unlike the previous kombat pack where you had to download it, the downloadable non-playable characters are now full disk content. These characters are not playable but there's the option you may or may not perform a fatality or brutality on them. They will appear as opponents you can battle in Klassic Tower, Endless Tower, the Invasion events and any mode where kombat is involved. Only difference is you cannot play as them but unlike other Mortal Kombat NPCs is that you may perform a fatality or brutality on them."
Mortal Kombat XL's release will be around March. The release date for Mortal Kombat XL: Philippine Edition has been scheduled on April 15, 2016. Stay tuned for further details.
In MKXL PH Edition, they must add Alberto Lina, Toady Casino, Jericho Petilla, Neri Colmenares, & Antonio Tinio as NPC as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso the Non Playable Factions will be Bayan Muna, Gagabriela, AnakPatis, & CHR.
