I Nearly Fell For The Foot Detox Scam

One of the many scams I nearly fell for was the detox foot scam. There were foot washes that claimed to remove toxins and another was the detox pads. However, when you do some basic chemistry experiment - you may find that it's actually a SCAM. Yes, a scam to get you to buy them in this health-conscious generation. But what happens next is that you realize it's all a scam. A simple science experiment of the foot washer and some salt reveals it. There's really that chemical reaction that creates RUST since saltwater creates more rust than fresh water.

How do the detox pads really work? It turns out that they don't. The mixture simply creates some mud and it's not even SOME TOXINS. I really find it crazy how they use this foot treatment to determine how much toxins you have.

The kidney is responsible for cleaning up the body. The urinary system and the digestive system do their job in removing pathogens. So why are we believing that these devices work? Shouldn't we be focused on eating healthy food and get lots of exercise to get rid of toxins?
