GMA-7 was notorious for its really BAD "Toku" known as Zaido. Now, it's got its Voltes V remake for the modern setting. It seems that the royalties for Super Sentai are higher than that of Kamen Rider explaining why the latter is still airing. However, I can't deny I definitely don't want Kamen Rider Drive to be voiced by the cast of Tsuperhero. I mean, can you imagine Shinnosuke Tomari becoming Drive while the theme song of Tsuperhero was playing? Episode 18 would be a perfect episode to murder-dub one way or another.
I was thinking about how Tokosou Sentai Dekaranger seems to deviate now from its original setting for a more mature setting. Back in 2004 - the series was toned down in contrast to the Rescue Police series of the now-discontinued but never forgotten Metal Hero franchise. I was thinking about how GMA-7 might desecrate the episode. Well, let's assume that the first 17 episodes were already aired and we're already having Dennis Trillo voicing Lucky into saying, "Ang swerte ko!" or "I'm so lucky!" to the point of irritation. Now, let's think of how episode 18 can be massacred.
I was thinking of how GMA-7 is notorious for editing out soundtracks into their dubs. Oh boy, can you imagine if the Zaido theme song will be inserted into this episode? How about you might end up Shou Ronpou telling the Kyurangers to study the heroism of the Zaidorks? If that happened then think about angry reactions. I could imagine the outrage will probably be THAT FULL and Suzette Doctolero may end up hiding under her bed.
