Satirical News: Shaina Magdayao To Endorse Vice President Leni Loud Robredo's Cucina De Leni

The discontinuation of the ABS-CBN franchise had caused the channel to go off-air and rely on paid frequency. The celebrities went into mourning mode over their free government franchise. Now, the time has come for ABS-CBN to show its full celebrity support for the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Loud Robredo. Robredo called herself the "mother of the nation" and started her kitchen campaign. Now, it was time to revive the film Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat (The Only Mother to You All) with cast members for a reunion. However, Heart Evangelista or Ann Marie Ongpauco-Escudero has moved to GMA-7. Now, it was time to pick a new endorser for the newest project called Cucina De Leni (Kitchen of Leni). 

Cast member Shaina Garcia Magdayao (left) had been picked to become an endorser of Cucina De Leni. Robredo had gained some momentum during her outreach when she gave some pasta to some homeless children in Paseo, Rizal. It was said that the parents gave their bright smiles when Robredo handed over her pasta. Magdayao was given the task to become a cover girl for Cucina De Leni for two reasons - her involvement in the Ang Tanging Ina movies and her having been taught the necessary cooking skills on Kris TV some time ago. 

Magdayao was given her new chef suit and cooking equipment courtesy of the Office of the Vice President (OVP). The ceremony was welcomed with the cast of Ang Probinsyano (The Provincial) which has Coconuts Martin starring as its titular hero, Cardo Dalisay. Leni Loud personally delivered the equipment to Magdayao's home. ABS-CBN crew filmed as Robredo personally gave the endorsement to Magdayao. 

"I'm happy to be involved with Cucina De Leni. I hope that we can help end the hunger of the Filipino people. I'm honored to be part of the Cucina De Leni project. Hopefully, this project will convince people of the kind heart of Robredo. The restoration of ABS-CBN is the fight of the Filipino people." said Magdayao in an interview with Boy Abunda and Vice Ganda.

However, the latest updates have resulted in mixed updates from netizens. Some netizens still called her the lockdown queen in an alleged mishap with her former boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz. Others have continued to criticize her for her attitude (along with other stars) regarding the ABS-CBN franchise. Magdayao chose to keep silent on the matter regarding the lockdown queen jokes that were thrown at her again. Meanwhile, it was also reported that K-Pop fans have been mad as some pictures used to promote Cucina De Leni belonged to Jin A Nana - a Korean actress who strongly resembles her.
