The Juan Tamad Economy of the Philippines

Like it or not, the Philippines is plagued with this injustice system called the Juan Tamad economy which some of the pseud-nationalists are proud of.  In what way is this unjust?  For one, justice is not always based on equality, sometimes it's based on equity like not charging common laborers of taxes while those who earn more are to remit more.  A flat line tax will not work.  The problem with the Philippines is that with this Juan Tamad economy, it's the system that rewards the lazy and punishes the diligent.  Below are some examples that have gone beyond the classroom setting of people who do little but claim to do all the work:

Go to a Filipino government office.  Think about the injustice there is this... those who aren't working at all and not doing their jobs right are getting the SAME pay as those who are doing their jobs right.  That is PLAIN crooked.  While private sectors tend to flourish, government office efficiency is very low thanks to this stupid custom.

Another are poor overseas Filipino workers.  The government itself can be blamed to why the need for OFWs end up increasing because of bad economics, how much worse is is that the beneficiaries of many OFWs are really actually the ones enjoying the gain of the OFW while the former makes sacrifices and not enjoying their fruits.  Really this is getting very, very rampant if you ask me.  Just think of what it is to have so many lazy kin back in the country and so many OFWs have to share it.

Really this is NOT proper economics.  This will be very bad for the economy yet those pseudo-nationalist Filipinos still want the wrong type of equality.
