Is New School Disney Seriously RUINING The Free Market Capitalist System?

Disney is one company that once produced many of my beloved childhood movies. Some of these movies in my parents' time are like Cinderella , Snow White , and The Rescuers . The 90s gave me some of my favorite films which they RUINED with bland remakes such as Beauty and the Beast (which is personally my favorite) and  Aladdin . Now, it's time to consider the douchery that's Disney and the possibility it's trying to ruin the free market capitalist system in the United States. Hmmm... maybe they're among the forces trying to get protectionism to be the new thing - to protect their own interests! Disney right now seems to be ruining competition by buying off competitors. The moment Marvel and Fox were bought by Disney - I had a red alarm already. The Marvel Comics these days are now full of unnecessary retcons (such as the parentage of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch is no longer that of Magneto's family tree) or just worse plots left and right. Another you can na...

Ever Remembered That Bomb Gag From The Cartoons?

Perhaps one of the greatest enigmas in one's childhood is what song was played in those bomb jokes? Today, the digital age provides a lot of answers to childhood enigmas. It turns out that the music used in the bomb joke. The first line is being used and the note often misses. The perpetrator usually becomes the victim of it. It turns out to be a song called "Believe Me, If All Those Endearing Young Charms". Here's the lyrics of the song: BELIEVE me, if all those endearing young charms, Which I gaze on so fondly to-day, Were to change by to-morrow, and flee from my arms Like fairy-gifts, fading away! Thou wouldst still be ador'd as this moment thou art, Let thy loveliness fade as it will; And, around the dear ruin, each wish of my heart Would entwine itself verdantly still! II. It is not while beauty and youth are thine own, And thy cheeks unprofan'd by a tear, That the fervour and faith of a love can be known, To which time will but make t...

It's The First Playstation's 25th Birthday And Them Good (And Bad) Times

I remembered the time when the Playstation was probably just as coveted - if not the msot coveted system ever. It was also that time Sega was still producing consoles before it decided to focus on the video game market. The rival was known as the Sega Saturn which ended in failure. So, I thought about how this system had all the good and bad times associated with it. There were some cool games back then. Who can remember some of the best like Crash Bandicoot or the Tekken series? People were able to bring home the arcades through the Playstation but not everything was arcade perfect. There were also slow loading times like playing MK Trilogy had very laggy moments (ex. Shang Tsung morphing) or how often the game takes too long to load. Those were the fun and frustrating times of the first Playstation. Who can remember resetting the system if the load times were SO SLOW? I could also remember the days when I cheated your way through some games. I usually used Gameshark during the...
