Satirical News: #TindigPilipinas Plans To Invite Amos Yee To Speak At Ateneo De Manila University

#TindigPilipinas decided to invite 19 year old Amos Yee from Singapore to speak at Ateneo De Manila University. They think that he would be the best new spokesperson that would help them in their cause to restore their perceived view of democracy. One of #TindigPilipinas' members Marbobo Roxas spoke about Yee's stand on Singapore. He said, "Yee is a clear victim of human rights abuses. He was put in jail by an unjust society. He does have the spirit that #TindigPilipinas needs and an inspiration that we all need. He's the millennial for today and we plan to invite him to speak at Ateneo De Manila." Backing up Yee is UN Shabuteur Agnes Callamard. Callamard said, "It would be important that Filipinos should hear that he (Yee) has to say. Singapore is the top human rights violator in Asia. We must work together to maintain democracy. Yee himself will speak for those who were unjustly executed for bringing in shabu in Singapore. As said, there's no evid...

What If Lee Kwan Yew Were A Pessimist?

Whenever I think, "Screw it!  The Philippines is hopeless!  Screw my ancestors for leaving China for the Philippines instead of America!", I always thought about how Singapore wasn't always Singapore.  In fact, you might want to call it Stinkapore because it was a war-ravaged poor country that just gained its independence from Malaysia.  Whenever I feel like the Philippines is hopeless and when I look at the legacy of Lee Kwan Yew, I thought. "Screw it!  What if Lee Kwan Yew was a pessimist?" When Lee Kwan Yew took over Singapore, the entire city was so poor and ravaged.  I guess people back then had no discipline.  But instead of being the pessimist, what did he do?  He decided it was time to fix problems such as crime rate, poverty, unemployment and corruption.  He did not care about popularity and what he wanted was for Singapore to rise up.  From 1965 to 1990, he started to implement new policies such as caning against certain offen...

Why Jailing Anti-Pinoy Singaporeans is A Good Move!

I know it's not easy to be heckled by the likes of Edz Ello, but apparently a lot of Singaporeans are already gone overboard so they should be jailed .  Knowing Singapore is a racially open country, it's just about time that those who want to get rid of Pinoys in general aren't helping the situation.  I know the Philippines needs to fix some things then so does Singapore.  Yes getting rid of Edz Ello was a proper action but to punish every Pinoy for his fault is stupid.  Only Pinoys who don't do their jobs properly should be removed while every straight and proper Pinoy should be allowed to keep their jobs. Also it must be remidned that Edz Ello DOES NOT represent the whole Pinoy race.  Certainly he can be considered a microcosm of what's wrong with MOST but remember NOT ALL Pinoys are like this guy.  Some Pinoys are well-to-do and have not chosen the path of the Failipino.  Instead, they are the enlightened Pinoys who continue to fight for a better...
