Pinyin is used in every Chinese dialect. Though, the one I'm familiar with is Mandarin though I'm afraid that ethnic linguicide is affecting Cantonese, Hokkien, and other Chinese dialects. Mandarin is still used in Taiwan as the national language even though their shows would sprinkle the Taiwanese dialect in some instances. Although I'm having issues with China as a political entity - I still sympathize with the people who are but victims of the Chinese Communist Party. Taiwan or the Republic of CHINA still uses Chinese pinyin even if they have declared themselves independent from the People's Republic of China. A lot of people are actually reading pinyin wrong. It's pretty much much how J and Que are misread by foreigners. A lot of people unfamiliar with the Chinese language misread it. So, what's the big point? If j in Tagalog is actually read as a softer h where Juan is read as Huan with a softer h - z is read as tsai or a softer chu. That means Ken Zhu ...

Actually like it or not, Mandarin education is rising up and we can't just do without it these days.  Okay English is the universal language BUT Mandarin is a fast approaching phenomenon which can be seen how not only Chinese culture manages to influence non-Chinese entertainment but also, people of Chinese ethicity are widespread throughout the world.  Take a look at how the Chinese people compose not only the American people but almost every nationality in the world.  Eventually a lot of Chinese have begun to team up with other races and also some have managed to influence commerce.  Think of Filipino businessmen of Chinese ethnicity like Tony Tancaktiong (who owns Jollibee) or John Gokongwei (who owns Robinsons).  They have managed to influence businesses in the Philippines without them, the economy could have gone that bad. Now China has emerged as a major economic power since the late 90s up to the present not ever since the gates of the country were open...

For some reason, I just enjoyed viewing Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" in the language it should be IMO- French.  And French turns out to be very beautiful when it's a French-themed show.  Sure the English version was good but French got me more in love with the show.  There have been differences between French versions and English versions of certain films... now for another one... Frollo's "Hellfire" in French had made him more of the tragic villain as he's supposed to be.  That is he does acknowledge his fault to a certain extent in the French compared to Tony Jay's version where he doesn't acknowledge he must be punished.  He says, "The Kingdom of Heaven must punish me..." when he acknowledges that he's been staring too long at Esmeralda, making him closer to the Victor Hugo version.
