So I want to marry a Western woman... and I guess I need to consider all that could go on.  In my case, I was having my thoughts on migrating to the West.  I'll need to get a job secure and all then of course, thinking of the Western standard.  Some things to keep in mind about cultural differences, maybe even biology.  I had my thoughts on whether or not it might be feasible to marry a white girl.  One could consider a conflict of culture, yet change happens.  It can really happen between an Chinese guy and American girl marriage but some of them work better than some American/American or Chinese/Chinese marriages.  But I'd work on marrying a civilian over a celebrity.  An examination of the West can be necessary of its values.  I was thinking of that what white people are in different areas like culture and values.  But these days, Chinese have started to become more liberal. I was thinking about the fact even with Oriental Fanatics Celebrities blog, I am more or less inclined to like hot white American girls.  Now just my thought or a word of caution from my friend who looks like Pamela Anderson (whose actually half of a Swiss, not American), that most Americans are overspenders that if they can't afford it, charge it directly to the credit card.  Now my thoughts on possible pros and cons: Chinese girls So okay we're done with the days of pathetic martyrdom.  However some traits in Chinese women may not disappear so easily like they can become overly controlling parents (like Amy Chua-Rubenfeld did have that problem as she admits it) or you could actually also think some Chinese women can have too much tradition.  Maybe not.  But seeing modernization with Chinese girls, it depends where they are located.  So far, one benefit for this is more on agreement of culture.  In America, they're being more open then again, in ...

So far, with Chinese women undergoing the "balancing revolution" like them knowing their rights.  So I really thought about Chinese women and American women of today.  I guess there's much of the stereotype which can be as follows if this is really true based on this article on 12 differences between them which I want to take with a grain of salt.  Here's some I really consider and maybe what every Chinese male may want to consider: 1.) In the U.S. American woman call the husband women dear, it seems a lot of Chinese women call their husband damn.  Hmmm I wonder if this is true. 2.) Most American women don't delibrately want their men to be kind to them, Chinese women may actually seem to tell the men look at how well most American men treat their women. 3.) Well it does pay off to be authoritative than to be authoritarian as both the latter and liberal homing system breeds the dangerous seeds of rebellion that causes abuse of authority and people who don't submit to authority at all. The problem with the traditional Chinese home is that they expect too much from their children. I am okay with authoritativeness since children do need to learn to hear "no" and to learn why it's no. But the problem with the typical Chinese matriarch is that no is no, she never tells the reason why to the point they become abusive mother-in-laws that nobody wants to be near with or would rather drown, get maimed, etc. because of their sharp tongues, overreacting attitude and the list can really go on. In short, it actually breeds rebellion just as a place without rules breeds rebellion. As said, want authority? Be an example. He who can't obey, cannot command at all. It's a problem these days of America's overly liberal culture.  I'm not against liberalism but hyper liberalism.  Everybody needs a degree of space and boundaries, liberated side and conservative side.  However America is stereotypical today as a "pampered state" in the modern era.  I have to be conservative on one side and liberal on another- I cannot be hyper on both. Between husband and wife: 1.) The overbearing mother-in-law.  This is to tap in the area of the Chinese man/American woman marriage.  Not too much on the Japanese or Korean spouse.  The problem can be the American wife might have to face with visits from the Chinese mother-in-law who can tend to think she's always above her son even if they're not living in the same house.  Mother-in-law problems are really an issue with a lot of Chinese people.  American daughters-in-law could really fight back really hard. 2.) Well I'm not saying all Oriental women are conservative and all American women are liberal, it's a matter of choice though I am going to talk about what's being stereotyped or generalized.  Here are a few examples: 1.) Oriental women tend to be more conservative than Caucasian women.  However do note that there are Caucasian women who are more conservative than Oriental women too.  As said, it can be a matter of choice whether or not you want to try one relationship after the other. 2.) Relationships.  Somehow it's very sad that it seems that Caucasian women can easily change boyfriends after a break up and end up in a series of bad relationships than most Oriental women.  Then again, the reverse can be very true like I know some Oriental women who can be too easygoing with relationships.  I've met some Oriental women who are too easy to shift so again, it's a choice not a matter of race that affects stuff. 3.) In the past, it was typically a white guy becomes the savior to the oriental girl, however as times have changed it's really pretty much time to flip the roles of the white guy and the oriental girl.  So I pretty much am now looking at this aspect of interracial relationships in literature.  Hmmmm I just don't have the guts to write a black to another race type of pairing though I'm not against it but I'll probably try to or somebody could write it themselves.  Now an examination of the roles in fiction: The stereotype before was white was the superior race creating racism.  Then we have anti-racist whites who fall in love with the oriental girls and marry them.  Sad to say but Chinese culture in the past does have its own fair share of negative stereotypes as written in the Joy Luck Club.  However as time passed, oriental girls have grown less meek and more independent minded.  In real life we have Maggie Quigley's parents, Lisa Selesner's parents...

Well I can't deny it but the trend of Chinese men getting white partners can't be denied, it's no joke since China has a huge imbalance between men and women in some areas so why not fly west?! With some Chinese men suddenly becoming quite rich (and tired of their traditional life) end up seeking white partners. Some of them have grown taller or perhaps found some shorter white girls to sit their own taste. Regardless, it may be more than just a fad, it could actually be a better reality to deal with. The usual norm was white guy-oriental girl but now the reverses are happening. So what's there to it? For me, it's about time to end the negative outlook each other has and living Bruce Lee's dream. Bruce Lee by marrying Linda Emery and teaching martial arts to blacks and whites bridged the gap... and apparently built a super race! Well looks like there's an exchange of women going on here... between Orientas males and White males.  So here's how a conversation could go in America or any white country. An Oriental guy would ask a White man to help him find a White girlfriend, in exchange that the Chinese guy gives the White man an Oriental girlfriend. :P I can't really deny that there are plenty of Chinese women who are quite attractive.  Just talk about Liu Yi Fei, Esther Liu, Zhang Zi Yi and Zhao Wei to name a few.  Okay the American's guy what he's got... On the other hand, I can't deny that aside from Orientals, where beauty seems to bloom is with the white people.  Okay not all white women are hot (take the case of most Power Rangers babes are inferior to beauty against Super Sentai babes).  Now the Chinese guy's got what he got- his White partner.  To be honest, attractive White girls for me are hotter than attractive Oriental girls.  A dating site for Chinese men seeking...

Here's some of the things that one may consider on choosing a Caucasian partner.  Here are they: 1.) Most European women are far more approachable than most American women.  It's been easier for Oriental males to get European women than American women.  American women tend to be more unfriendly.  Sad but true. 2.) Most American women are overweight.  Sad but true.  In Europe, most of their diet is far healthier than America.  Compare Sbarro an American-Italian fusion to a real Italian restaurant. 3.) Most European women are usually dressed more classy than American women.  They have no scarcity or excess in grooming.  American women can groom themselves either in scarcity or in excess. 4.) Most European women are intellectual compared to most American women.  Hmmm... just notice the movies.  In turn, European women have more interests.  Thinking of it, it may be the reason why Jonathan Patrick Foo's parents landed on ea...

In an interracial relationship, it's possible one side says yes and the other side says no.  Surprising?  Not really.  Some Americans are pretty open minded about marrying non-Americans compared to the past during the civil war.  I mean, we see American men with Asian women and some really do are genuine relationships.  On the other hand there are Chinese families who don't like the idea of an intermarriage while the girl's family is entirely A-OK with the guy.  Hmmm... well that's better than both sides saying no.  

It can't be denied that there's always a DIFFERENCE between Orientals and Caucasians.  It's time to really see it at a different aspect.  While there's not much of a problem between a Caucasian man and an Oriental woman (well, adjust... adjust...) the Oriental males are stereotyped to be more dominating than the Caucasian man and Caucasian women are more free-thinking.  So what's it going to be?  Well it's time to do some balancing such as the husband being less dominating and the woman being moderately submissive, that is while she submits to authority, she however doesn't tolerate abuse.  I believe that an advantage of this mixed marriage can be that it would be time to even out the odds between the two and discarding the bad between the two.

While it's mostly expected in the past that Orientals are short and Caucasians are tall but there's always the reverse.  I may be Oriental myself but I'm at least 172 cm.  And another, based on the celebrities above Tori Matsuzaka is 181 cm and Emma Rose Roberts is only 159 cm tall.  That is simply an illustration that Americans are not necessarily super tall as some Americans are not so tall and Orientals as super short as Yao Ming is considered gigantic.  So it's back to the height norm- taller guy, shorter girl but only this time, the shorter one is the one who's white and the taller one is the one who's yellowish or pale white. So let's try to figure out how a tall Chinese guy could get well, attracted to a short American girl and feel more confident about it because he's taller than the white girl.  It could start with some emotional security, stability, well... perhaps some avoidance of the height issue.  As said, Americans are not always tall and...

I guess it's only natural that Chinese girls do get attractive.  Well above is Crystal Liu Yi Fei, one of my favorite Chinese actresses and a really attractive one at best.  I find her more attractive than most of the Power Rangers' babes that were present during the Disney era.  Anyway side comment- I think they would like to stay in America to learn English more then they can start teaching them their language.  Hee hee.  Talk about inter-culture exchange- maybe and must maybe, Chinese and white Americans are meant to create a super race when they interbreed?!  I think so!  However some American males prefer to go after the ethnic looking Chinese over the enhanced ones (who carry Western genes) for some reason.  Other American males have Chinese partners that are obviously enhanced.  Well, these half-breeds can speak the Chinese language vs. those who have an American mother, Chinese father because it's the mother who coaches the language....

It can't be denied that there are Chinese men who are actually getting married to American girls and I think here are just some of the reasons: 1.) The gender imbalance in China  Due to gender discrimination in China, abortions are done to female infants before they can be born thus causing the drop.  Admit it- they've got to find a partner don't they?  Well, maybe not the top cause since they can also go to the Philippines to find a Filipino wife or other parts of the globe. 2.) Vindictive Chinese tradition has caused them to flee and seek a new life Reading through the Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan (which focused on the perils of the early Chinese women), some Chinese males may have had enough of the vindictive arranged marriages, the overly demanding Chinese traditions and the overly controlling way of life.  Going for the opposite extreme?  Well looks like it.  And what better way for them to actually be American than to get an American woman?  Hmmm...

So I simply have to admit that between a hot Caucasian girl and a hot Chinese or Japanese girl, I would actually have a higher chance of getting more attracted to a hot Caucasian women. A little bit of comparison shall we? Here's a comparison between a hot Caucasian woman and a hot Oriental woman.  So I'm using Emma Roberts (white American) and Esther Liu (Chinese) and it's time to see where they differ in their hotness. Caucasian girls have a fairer skin tone over Oriental girls. When the hair is dyed blonde or naturally blonde, it just looks good on them.  Not so with Oriental girls- they look better with black hair. Well you can't deny they're both pretty in their own respects and sexy too.  However it seems that aside from just being finely chiseled, Emma Roberts' western features makes her hotter than Esther Liu. Actually it simply depends.  Case to case basis.  For example, Ayumi Kinoshita (who has Caucasian features) looks better than Monica May. ...

I personally thought that maybe, just maybe, it may not be not such a good idea to get a North American partner. And I think these may be some of the reasons why: Many North Americans are simply wasteful over food. A difference of ideals- well that's pretty common and expected so be ready. Somehow people murder their lovely appearances in the U.S. The fashion sense- many North American women dress far more daringly than most Oriental women. I don't know either. But I do have a mixture of Eastern ideology with Western ideology trying to balance the pros and cons of each culture.

So far, I would like to think about what makes me find Caucasian girls exotic to Chinese males. These are: 1.) The bug eyed beauty. Okay I find tiny-eyed girls hot too but, it seems that I'm getting bored with chinky eyes. Then again, there are bug-eyed Orientals due to a mixture in the line. Also there's the eye color too. 2.) It's the hair color isn't it? I find blonds, brunettes and redheads attractive. 3.) The skin tone is too. Well Caucasians do have that "certain glow" in their skin that some people try to achieve and can't. Hee hee. But I would want a 5'2 Caucasian girl with all the features above. Ha ha. Seriously.

Here's a little bit of everything- if you remembered Daimos (if you ever watched it) andi ts love story, it's between Kazuya (known as Richard to English dub fans) and Erika (a Baam who is the sister of Ulrich) which was a forbidden love. Yup. And what was the issue? War between Earth and Baam was it. And in reality, such a similar relationship can happen minus Daimos. And it can happen between a Chinese and a Caucasian. Truth is, Caucasians have opened up to the idea earlier than most Chinese. Being Chinese in ethnicity I understand that myself. Actually it can happen in two ways- Chinese guy and American girl and the more common Chinese girl and American guy. Let's go down to the more common: Chinese girl and Caucasian guy. We can start where there are Chinese, like the Baams, some have become wanderers looking for a new home. Some are pro-peace and others are not.
