Shouldn't this be a REAL eyesore at Imperial Manila?  And yet some idiot I know wants to migrate there! One of the most idiotic things that the Philippine government has done in the name of "humanity" never mind that they are nothing but a bunch of Predators, is to really not take action on squatters.  Right now, I've even heard they are planning to remove a historical monument called the Anda Circle ( read here ).  In other words, this is another yet stupid move at Imperial Manila, the city that is filled with so much trash. Now why do I think that Philippine politicians (can be alternatively called as poo-liticians) refuse to remove the squatters?  My only speculation based on what I have observed is politics or poo-litics.  Here are some reasons that I can name:P 1.) Knowing that Power Rangers is currently airing in Nickelodeon (they should really consider getting another network, Nickelodeon is NOT Toku compatible)... I would want to speculate on how Saban is running things and with Saban, hmmm... I've already started to think very negatively about him with how he's returned... The Philippines is not exactly the worst place on Earth as some of its places are business-friendly and tourist friendly.  First, I would like to suggest places to go to for quality Filipino food would be in places like Cebu, Bacolod, Bohol and Iloilo.  One may want to stay away from prolonged stays in places like Imperial Manila (especially Tondo).  Imperial Manila is one place that's definitely going to make a tourist's longer stay a real nightmare most of the time! I will talk about what to avoid first.  In general, avoid those foods located at sidewalk eateries, foods prepared at the street, sidewalk barbeque or any place where it's located in a dirty area.  One may notice the POOR SANITATION and POOR HANDLING should be enough to disgust anybody..  The problems with these places is their mediocre to really poor services and standards.  Some of them may taste good but may require real stomach pills than your average bad cooking in a clean environ...
