Ahhhh... the 1990s... the time when I was born. I could remember growing up with some stuff that I wanted and don't want now. I could remember how some toy stores have closed down like Gift Gate and Nova Fontana. Now, I want to think about the early 1990s. I could remember those simpler times may not be so simple after all. The movie Jingle All the Way seems to summarize it. I even remembered dreaming of making a video game out of the failed movie one way or another... FOR FUN. It was my crazy fantasy to create a fan game where the player controls Howard in his quest to get the Turbo Man. The line even has Jamie saying, "Anybody who doesn't have a Turbo Man will be a loser!" The chase goes on... right? It seems Jingle All the Way for a failed movie (that had a following similar to Santa Claus the Movie ) really did a good job as a fictional movie. Some time ago, I remembered writing about those fake ads becoming real . I could remember downloading that stupid fun game called Save the Girl by Lion Studios . There are now legitimate pull-the-pin hero rescue games. Though, back then such concepts were only ads in games like Hero Wars . I downloaded those games and FOUND OUT that they were NOTHING LIKE THE ADS. Then, the ads still persisted with more FAKE Gardenscapes ads. Shouldn't Playrix get investigated for fraud? Yup, I still think that these ads should be banned INDEFINITELY . How do they annoy? Well, it's really that simple if you understand click-baiting. There's the frustration factor in these ads. You can think of how the ads PURPOSELY make the "player" make wrong choices. There's the tag line going like, "Can you do better?" or "I'm sure you can't save the boy." You want to accomplish it, you download it, and guess what - the REAL GAME SUCKS! The real game is NOTHING ...

  I was looking at the Donbrothers "finale". It was a pretty weird episode where it began watching an episode of Kamen Rider Revice . Right now, I can't decide which is weirder between Donbrothers!Kaito watching the finale of Revice or Nadira watching an episode of Saban's Masked Rider . At this point, I feel Donbrothers!Haruka has become the "show savior" in some way. This screenshot where she holds the stuffed toy and says, "No fair! Woof!" makes me think of thing I ranted - JAPANESE ENTERTAINMENT EXCLUSIVISM. I check out Toei's official Youtube channel and most of the episodes HAVE NO FREAKING SUBS. Really? Just learn Japanese? It's easier said than done! I guess some snobs may have told that to the Westerners. I even feel that some people are willing to read subs but not learn the language unless it's required.  An article concerning  the K-Pop vs. J-Pop culture wars  makes me think why I feel mad at Japanese exclusivism. WorthPoint I was thinking of how often I was jealous of someone I now dub "Mr. Sinister". This "Mr. Sinister" guy was pretty much the cool kid who had almost any toy he wanted. I remembered how I grew up not having a Super NES (and that Exceedraft episode reminded me of how I hated not having one as a CHILD). I was looking for vintage toys of what I wanted as a child. I remembered the oddity that I wanted a Kamen Rider BLACK RX toy. I remembered how I had some Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers that are now broken. Why I still kept some old toys (and some are broken) is just weird. I still have my Conan the Adventurer toy even if the cartoon show is an Old Shame now. So much for me quarreling with my parents about missing an episode! I really looked for some second-hand toys. Some of them were sold TOO PRICEY. Why would I buy a vintage Kamen Rider toy set for that much? Another offered to sell an entire set (13 pieces) BUT I thought 3,000+ would be too expensive. I c...
